What we are doing
Our Access to Justice Program is absolutely critical. We believe that everyone deserves access to legal support, regardless of their ability to pay. We know that legal barriers often prevent people from accessing essential healthcare services, and we’re committed to breaking down those barriers.
How we do it:
We provide free legal consultations, run mobile legal clinics in remote communities, and train paralegals to empower communities to understand and assert their rights. We also aim to support strategic and public interest litigation to challenge discriminatory laws and policies.
Who We Help:
We prioritize support for women, adolescents, and other vulnerable populations who face systemic discrimination and barriers to accessing justice within the healthcare system.
What We Hope to Achieve:
We envision a Malawi where everyone knows their rights, has access to legal recourse, and can access the healthcare they need to live healthy, dignified lives.
